FAST FOOD

We recommend:

Belgrade is also famous for its exquisite restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, as well as for fast food restaurants. In case you need a canteen, we recommend the restaurants which have fed many generations of Belgrade University students.

1. Duff – although not original in name, this fast food restaurant is undoubtedly No.1 restaurant as concerns fast food. Excellent service, house delivery, frequent discounts and promotions, an assortment of various free dressings (which you yourself choose and add freely) and, what is most important, top quality at a bit higher price than average are the main reason why there are constant queues in front of these reasturants.
Locations: Autokomanda, Ustanicka, Novi Beograd
Make sure you try: Krastyburger

2. Stepin vajat – a cult grill restaurant for the time before, during and after a famous football derby (Red Star vs. Partizan). 24-hour crowd at Autokomanda, the beginning of Vojvode Stepe Street, speaks itself of the status Stepa enjoys. With more moderate prices and the quality towards which neither Lotar Mateus nor Mile of Cubura can remain indifferent, for Voždovac students this restaurant has no competitors.

3. Grill UNO – A system of fast food restaurants networked over the whole city. It has no such a long tradition as the above-mentioned restaurants, but with the quality it offers and multi-presence in the market it has become a serious competitor to satisfaction of the army of customers.

4. Banjalucki cevap – also has a few restaurants in different locations. During the 90s it was a casual place for an after-hour when going out. The menu presumes only Small and Big portion, although no one ever objected to that. Find out why?

5. Bucko pizza – the only representative of divine pasta at the TOP 5 list, stole the sympathies of all Belgrade people since it has invented a dressing as a garnish to pizza. From that time on the queues are ever present in Francuska and Beogradska streets where Bucko restaurants are situated.

You will certainly not regret if you visit the following restaurants as well: Orao, Giros.gr, at Loki’s, at Cica’s, at Nišlija’s, Pingvin (raft restaurant), Aca Bakery, Toma Bakery, Amica, Keops and Pinokio.

Since it does not belong to fast food restaurants category, the restaurant Žuta greda (General Horvatovic Street) has no competition. Moreover it is one of a kind since it offers restaurant service, top-quality cooked dishes and grill at the price of fast food assortment. Therefore, students who usually lack money, cherish special relation towards this restaurant.
